What is “Abundant Living?”

Can you really do it after a catastrophe?

Can you even imagine what it might look like, or how you might go about it?

That’s what we’re about on this site.

catastrophe, n. [L. catastropha, Gr. …to turn]  1. An event producing a subversion of the order of things; a final event, usually calamitous; hence, sudden calamity.  2. The final event in a romance, drama, etc., in a drama following the catastasis; denouement.  3. Geol. A violent and widely extended change in the surface of the earth… Syn. See DISASTER. (Definition from Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary, 3rd Edition)

What a dramatic word: catastrophe.

What is a catastrophe? Read the definition above and see what you think. Have you endured one – or more than one?

I believe that most people suffer at least one catastrophe in the course of a lifetime, and some people suffer many of them.

What can we do after it happens? Does it mean my life is ruined? Can I recover? Will I be changed forever? How can I even begin to go forward?
